Per the North Shore Realtor News Magazine the over all average of sale prices for the entire year of 2008 was down by -8.9%.

Per the North Shore Realtor News Magazine, compared to the same time last year, Single Family home sale prices have gone up 8.5% when comparing Oct 08 to Oct 09 prices.

The fact that we went into the last quarter of the year on the positive side, should give us all some hope that the market is leveling off and could be on it’s way to
recovering. However nobody has crystal ball and many, many factors effect home prices; jobs, economy, mortgage rates, consumer confidence, government action etc. The great thing about a home is you get to enjoy it regardless of what the market is doing.
